Shipping — the short version

  • Orders over $250 ship free to the contiguous 48 states. Freight items are the exception.
  • Heavy items ship by freight with a flat delivery charge — $159, $199 or $299 depending on the unit, and residential liftgate service is always included. No dock or forklift needed, and nothing to add at checkout.
  • The exact charge appears on the product page and at checkout before you pay.
  • Orders placed before 3 PM ET are processed the same business day. Processing is not shipping.
  • Orders typically ship within 2 to 5 business days, then 3 to 7 days in transit.
  • We ship to the contiguous 48 states only — no Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or international. A physical address is required; no P.O. Boxes.

Receiving a freight delivery

Inspect the crate before you sign the delivery receipt. Note any damage on the receipt before the driver leaves — once you sign a clean receipt, the carrier can deny a damage claim. Take photos, and if the damage looks severe you may refuse the shipment. Report damage to us within 48 hours of delivery. Full detail is in the Shipping Policy.

Returns — the short version

  • 30 days to request a return, counted from the day you receive your item.
  • Items must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging with all accessories.
  • We do not charge restocking fees.
  • If the item arrived damaged or defective, returns are free — we cover return shipping and the replacement.
  • If you simply changed your mind, you are responsible for return shipping.
  • Once a generator has been gassed or oiled it cannot be returned — federal law prohibits shipping it. We will help you get it serviced under warranty instead.
  • Cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of ordering. After that, contact us — if it has not shipped we can often still cancel.
