NOTE: Some items will have to be shipped freight depending on the size of the item such as the Home Standby Generators or other generators above 150 LBs. We will indicate freight required on the item's product page.

 

Free Shipping Promotion:

We offer free shipping on all orders to the continental United States.

NOTE: Some oversize/overweight products may incur a shipping charge, but this will be indicated on the product page of the item. These are typically items shipped LTL (over 150LBS). We will only ship LTL when the manufacturer requires it.

 

SHIPPING ADDRESS POLICY

Please ensure the shipping information provided at checkout is accurate. We are not responsible for any losses, including missing parcels, package damage, losses as a result of delay, and other losses caused by incorrect shipping information that customers have provided.

A physical address is required. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

NOTE: We only ship to the contiguous 48 US States at this time which excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories.  We also do not ship outside the country.

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Processing:

Our goal is to get your order processed the same day every time because we ourselves are consumers and know we Our goal is to process your order the same day if we receive the order before 2 PM PST.

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card it will ship within three business days from the date of your order. We will send you shipping confirmation within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive shipping confirmation from us within four business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at info@mightygenerators.com.

Shipping Times:

Our delivery lead times vary from 3 to 7 days, contingent upon your geographical proximity to the originating warehouse of the shipped item. NOTE: Not all items ship from the same warehouse and depending on the brand they can ship from different warehouses in the US.

 What does Free Liftgate Service Include for Home Standby Units? Lift gate service consists of the freight company delivering to your address and lowering your generator to the ground with a hydraulic lift. 

 

Return Policy

We are committed to providing a straightforward, hassle-free return or exchange process. We are consumers ourselves and do not like to jump through hoops to return an item, so why should we make you do that. With that being said, we do want you to read our full policy to know how our process works.

Return Timeline

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. We cannot accept returns after 30 days from when the item is received.

Eligible Products

Products purchased on www.mightygenerators.com  must be returned in saleable condition — in other words, unused, in the original packaging, and undamaged. The customer is responsible for shipping costs of products that are returned for any reason other than being damaged or defective. An acceptable return must meet the conditions set forth above regarding saleable condition. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be obtained for all returns. To obtain an RMA please email us at returns@mightygenerators.com and include the order number and name on the order.

Restocking Fees:

We do not charge restocking fees because we do not like them. We want this return process to be as smooth as possible and we know that restocking fees are just another way for companies to make money off customers. 

Refund Processing Time:

Once we receive the eligible return, we will inspect the package to verify it meets the criteria as described above. Once approved, the refund will be credited back to the original payment method within 7 days. If you have not received the refund within 10 days of an approved return then please reach out to us at returns@mightygenerators.com.

Exceptions to Return Policy:

    • Power Equipment (products that use gas and oil) – Power Equipment products are not eligible for return once they have been oiled or gassed. Once oiled or gassed it cannot be shipped by Federal law. Mighty Generators will help facilitate the repair of the product with the manufacturer. Typically, it will need to be taken to an authorized service center for any repairs or technical assistance, which may be covered under warranty. We will give you directions on this during the RMA process. There are no exceptions to this rule.
    • Any food or food-related product cannot be returned for health, safety, and sanitary reasons. MG will exhaust all options to make sure the product works and that you are satisfied.
    • Clearance Items are final sale and cannot be returned.
    • Scratch and Dent Items are final sale* and cannot be returned.
    • Special Order and Built To Order Item Cancellations submitted 24 Hours after an order has been placed can not be guaranteed.
    • Customized Products cannot be returned.
    • Any purchases made on a gift card cannot be returned.

    Final Sale*

    Mighty Generators does not accept returns of items marked Scratch/Dent or Recondition/Refurbished Conditions on Outdoor Power Equipment. Due to the nature of these items, they are unique in the type of imperfections they may possess. The items are sold in “as-is” condition and are guaranteed to be fully functional. If there is an issue with your product, our service technicians will walk you through any troubleshooting and are able to get you any necessary parts. Items that are sold in these conditions and returned to Mighty Generators will not be accepted for delivery and may lead to additional costs for the buyer.

    Damaged and/or Defective?

    If your item was received damaged or defective, we will help facilitate the return and exchange of the product. Returns and exchanges of damaged items are free to the customer meaning Mighty Generators pays for return shipping and the shipping of the replacement items. Please reach out to us immediately to obtain an RMA for the product at returns@mightygenerators.com so that we can expedite the replacement of your item.  All Items will be inspected and/or tested upon return. Upon inspection, if your product is deemed to be not defective or damaged, you will be responsible for the shipping cost of the returned product to you. All products must be returned with original packaging, accessories, and documentation. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) may be obtained by emailing us at returns@mightygenerators.com Please include photos of the product if the item is damaged to help expedite the process.

    Changed your mind?

    1. Email our service team at returns@mightygenerators.com  to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
    2. The package must be in the original packaging with all accessories. We will give you the return shipping address with the RMA and you will be responsible for return shipping costs.
    3. Once we receive the item, we will inspect the item to make sure it is in original condition with all accessories and packaging.
    4. Once returned in resalable condition, we can issue a full refund back to the original payment method within 7 days.

    Want an Exchange?

    1. Email our service team at returns@mightygenerators.com  to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and to discuss the product that you would like to receive.
    2. The package must be in the original packaging with all accessories. We will give you the return shipping address with the RMA and you will be responsible for return shipping costs.
    3. Once we receive the item, we will inspect the item to make sure it is in original condition with all accessories and packaging.
    4. Once returned in resalable condition and approved, we will contact you to have your new item shipped back out free of charge.
