The Anker SOLIX BP2000 (C2000 Gen 2 EB) is an add-on battery module, not a power station. It has no AC outlets, no USB ports and no inverter, and it cannot power anything on its own.

It requires an Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 power station to function, connected with the included battery-to-host cable. If you do not already own one, you need the C2000 Gen 2 power station or the station and battery bundle instead.

The Anker SOLIX BP2000 (Gen 2), also listed as the C2000 Gen 2 EB, is an expansion battery that adds storage to an Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 portable power station. It is an add-on module. It has no outlets, no USB ports and no inverter of its own, and on its own it cannot power anything.

If you are shopping for a unit that runs appliances by itself, you want the Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 power station, or the power station and expansion battery bundled together.

What the expansion battery does

Connected to a C2000 Gen 2 with the included battery-to-host cable, it adds 2,048Wh of LiFePO4 storage and brings the paired system to 4,096Wh total. You run the same equipment from the host station's outlets, for roughly twice as long between charges. All power is drawn from the C2000 Gen 2; the expansion battery simply holds the extra charge.

Before you buy

  • You must already own an Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2. This battery is compatible with that station only.
  • There is nothing to plug into on this unit. It has no sockets of any kind.
  • The battery-to-host cable is included in the box.
