E1500Ultra Features & Performance

Advanced Battery Technology

The E1500Ultra uses LiFePO4 battery cells rated for over 4,000 charge cycles to 70% capacity, which Jackery rates for a 10-year lifespan. Compare that to lead-acid alternatives that start degrading after 300-500 cycles.

Versatile Output Options

Multiple AC outlets, USB ports, and 12V connections let you power everything from full-size appliances to sensitive electronics. The pure sine wave inverter protects your gear from power surges that can damage expensive equipment.

Fast Recharge Capability

Wall charging gets you back to 100% in about 1.5 hours. With up to 800W of solar input, Jackery rates a full solar charge at about 2.5 hours, perfect for extended camping trips or emergency preparedness.

Why Choose the E1500Ultra over Traditional Gas Generators

Gas generators seem cheaper upfront, but they'll cost you more in fuel, maintenance, and headaches over time. The E1500Ultra runs quietly, starts instantly, and never needs oil changes or carburetor cleaning. You can safely operate it indoors during storms while gas generators must stay outside, leaving you to run extension cords through windows and doors.

Jackery is one of the best-known names in portable power, and the Explorer series is its flagship line. The LiFePO4 battery delivers consistent power output until nearly empty, unlike gas generators that lose power as fuel runs low.

Plus, you'll never make another emergency fuel run or worry about stale gas gumming up your engine.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the E1500Ultra run my refrigerator?

Runtime depends on your refrigerator's actual power draw, which varies by model and how often the compressor cycles. For a rough estimate, divide the E1500Ultra's 1536Wh capacity by your fridge's average wattage; real-world runtime will be somewhat lower because of inverter losses. Smaller RV fridges and mini-fridges draw less and run longer.

Is the E1500Ultra worth the investment compared to a gas generator?

While gas generators cost less upfront, you'll spend hundreds on fuel, oil, and maintenance over 5 years. The E1500Ultra pays for itself through free solar charging and zero maintenance costs, plus you get the convenience of quiet indoor operation.

Can I use this while it's charging?

Yes, the E1500Ultra supports pass-through charging, so you can power your devices while simultaneously recharging the battery from wall power or solar panels.

How quiet is it really?

There's no engine, so there's no engine noise. What you may hear is its cooling fan, which works harder under heavy loads. That makes it practical to run in a bedroom, RV, or tent.
