The Power Pod is what takes this system from 4800Wh to 9600Wh. The two configurations without it ship with the Powerhouse and its 4800Wh battery storage only. A Power Pod can be added at any point later, and the system accepts up to five of them for 28.8kWh total.
Power Output
Every configuration delivers 7200W continuous and 14400W peak from a 120V/240V split-phase pure sine wave inverter at 60Hz, safe for sensitive electronics, medical equipment, and home networks. Combine two Powerhouses with the Powerhouse Combiner Cable for 14400W continuous, or three for 21600W. Battery chemistry is 48V 100Ah sealed AGM.
Hybrid Charging

Solar: Up to 2000W into the Powerhouse. Adding a Power Pod raises total solar input to 4000W.

AC: 1300W from a standard 120V wall outlet.
All three inputs can run at once, which meaningfully shortens recharge time on overcast or windy days. Wind charging also works overnight, when solar cannot.
Eco Mode
Leave the system in Eco Mode and it manages itself. The grid charges the battery normally, the Powerhouse takes over automatically when the grid fails, and it returns to charging once utility power comes back.
Home Integration
The Powerhouse includes a NEMA L14-30R outlet, which is what connects it to a transfer switch or power inlet box so you can back up hardwired circuits instead of running extension cords. Nature's Generator pairs it with either the 12-Circuit 30A manual transfer switch or the 16-Circuit 30A automatic transfer switch, both sold separately. Installation of any transfer switch must be performed by a qualified electrician in compliance with local code. Do not AC-charge the Powerhouse from the same load center the transfer switch is backing up.

Installation Notes
The Powerhouse is designed for indoor placement in a garage, basement, or utility room, and rolls on built-in transport wheels. The solar panels and wind turbine are weatherproof and live outside. Professional installation is recommended for transfer panel integration, roof-mounted arrays, and wind turbine tower work to meet local electrical and building codes.
Sold separately: transfer switch, solar panel mounting hardware, and additional 50ft extension cable if your array sits farther from the unit than the included cable reaches.
Common Questions
Which configurations give me 9600Wh?
The two that include the Power Pod. The Powerhouse alone carries 4800Wh. The Power Pod adds a second 4800Wh and also doubles your solar and wind input limits. Call us before ordering if you are unsure which capacity you need and we will size it with you.
Can this run an air conditioner?
Yes. The 7200W split-phase output handles most residential AC units and heat pumps. Confirm your specific unit's startup surge with a load assessment first.
How long will it run my appliances?
Runtime depends on total load. On 4800Wh, a refrigerator drawing 100 to 200W average runs well over a day. Add lights, phones, and a TV and expect roughly 18 to 24 hours. The 9600Wh configurations roughly double those figures, and solar or wind recharge extends all of it indefinitely in good conditions.
Can I add capacity later?
Yes. Power Pods, additional panels, a second wind turbine, and even additional Powerhouse units can all be added after purchase. Nothing you buy now becomes obsolete when you expand.
Is professional installation required?
Not for basic plug-and-play use. It is required for transfer panel wiring and strongly recommended for roof solar mounting and turbine tower installation.
