Why surge is the number that matters
Motors do not draw their running wattage at startup. They pull a brief spike, typically two to three times their running watts, to overcome inertia. Almost everything that matters in an outage is motor-driven: your refrigerator, your freezer, your furnace blower, your well pump. Size a unit to the running load alone and it can trip at the moment it is needed.
The E3600LFP runs at 3,600W and surges to 7,000W, roughly double the headroom. It starts the motors that trip smaller units.
How far the E3600LFP expands
The E3600LFP starts at 3,072Wh and grows by adding expansion batteries. There are two expansion paths and they reach different ceilings. Both figures are correct; they describe different batteries, not a contradiction.

Good to know before you buy
- A single unit is 120V. Reaching 7,200W at 240V requires two units plus the Double Voltage Hub, sold separately.
- Silent and emission-free, so it is safe to run indoors.
- LiFePO4 cells are rated for 3,500+ cycles to 80% capacity.
